Memorial Building Change of Operations
City Council unanimously
approved an agreement with the Veterans Groups to manage
daily operations and rental of the Veterans Memorial Building
at 649 San Benito Street beginning on November 1, 2013.
Those interested in Event Rental of the building can contact
the Veterans Groups directly at (831) 637-7011. Hours
of operation at the Veteran's Builiding for customers is
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm and Tuesday
and Thursday by appointment only.
All calls to the City of Hollister
Recreation for rental of the Veterans Memorial Building
will be referred to the number above. All other City Park/Building
rental will still be overseen by the Hollister Recreation
Department at (831) 636-4390.

Urban Area Water Project & Water Rates
Sunnyslope County Water District is collaborating with the
City of Hollister and the San Benito County Water District
to improve water quality through implementation of the Hollister
Urban Area Water Project (HUAWP). The proposed rates will
help pay for water system improvements. By expanding and
improving the local water treatment system, the HUAWP will
provide reliable high-quality water for the Hollister area.
