Reporting
If
you are the victim of a crime (or the parent or guardian of
a minor who is the victim) that occurred within the City
of Hollister, you may download an Incident Report and
send it to the Hollister Police Department.
Note:
On-line incident reporting is for PAST TENSE crimes for which
THERE ARE NO SUSPECTS OR EVIDENCE. Do not report crimes that
you have previously reported by any other means.
Your
Incident report will be assigned a Case Number. The
report will be filed but there will be no investigative activity
by HPD unless some leads develop.
By
filing a police report, you are agreeing to be contacted by
a representative of the Hollister Police Department should
it become necessary in the course of handling your case. Please
note that it is unlawful to file a false police report.
The
following types of crime can be reported using this web site:
- Harassing Phone Calls
- Lost Property
- Petty theft (under $400)
- Vandalism (not graffiti)

traffic accidents can be reported to the DMV. Found Property
reports must be made in person at the Hollister Police Department,
395 Apollo Ct., Hollister.)
