The Redevelopment
Agency is required by State Law to set aside 20% of all tax
increment revenue for the purpose of increasing, improving,
and preserving the community’s supply of low and moderate
income housing.
Hollister continues
to implement a comprehensive housing program by offering various
programs to all family income levels in the community. In
the past, the Agency has offered rehabilitation loans, first
time homebuyer loans, and self-help programs to obtain the
goal of providing safe and decent housing for the citizens
of Hollister.
